For manufacturers and distributors on Adobe Commerce, the complexity you're managing isn't a niche problem. Customer-specific pricing. Account hierarchies. RFQ workflows. Multi-tier price books. ERP dependencies. 100,000+ SKU catalogs. These are table stakes for your segment. And Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service was engineered for exactly this level of complexity. The Composable Catalog Data Model handles large variant catalogs. B2B drop-in components cover company accounts, purchase orders, quote management, and requisition lists natively. API Mesh handles ERP integration without the point-to-point maintenance overhead. The argument for staying on PaaS used to be complexity. That argument is getting harder to make. Our latest blog post breaks down these challenges and more as you look at end of life upgrade scenarios and Adobe Commerce. Most Adobe Commerce ERP integrations break in production within 6 months. Not because of bad code, because of the wrong pattern. After integrating 15+ ERP, CRM and OMS systems, here is my simple rule: 🟢 Small store, single ERP → Direct API 🟢 Multiple backend systems → Middleware 🟢 Enterprise, high volume → Message Queue (async) What most teams get wrong: 🔴 Calling ERP directly on every order - no retry logic, one timeout = lost order 🔴 Syncing everything in real-time — bulk inventory updates synchronously will kill your DB 🔴 No error handling - ERP goes down for 2 hours, orders disappear 🔴 No monitoring - you find out its broken when customers complain The rule is simple: → Customer-facing, blocking operations = Sync → Background, non-blocking operations = Async We cut order sync latency from 45 minutes to under 2 minutes using async message queues on a high-traffic enterprise storefront. Design for ERP downtime from day one, not after your first incident. What pattern are you using on your Adobe Commerce stack? #AdobeCommerce #Magento2 #ERPIntegration #BackendEngineering #Architecture

Shopware Nexus is now in Early Access. Shopware released Nexus, a native iPaaS (integration platform for connecting your shop to ERP, PIM, and CRM systems) built directly into Shopware core. No external middleware. It runs on Kafka for retry reliability. Current connectors: Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Slack, AWS S3, and Shopware-to-Shopware. Pimcore and NetSuite are in development. Free until September on Shopware 6.7.1+. What this means for your business. For Shopware projects with ERP connections, this replaces custom scripts and reduces upgrade breakage. Shopware claims up to 40% lower integration costs. Agencies can export and reuse workflows across client projects. What to do next. Try it at nexus.shopware.com. It is Early Access, not production-hardened yet. Scope new integration projects with both Nexus and your usual middleware as fallback. #Shopware #iPaaS #ECommerceIntegration #ERPIntegration #B2BCommerce

Companies that approach this upgrade proactively are the ones best positioned to thrive in the next decade. An ERP migration is not just a technical necessity. It’s also a strategic opportunity. Most NAV environments today sit on years of custom integrations, manual processes and workarounds. And when you move to Business Central, those integrations need to be rebuilt anyway. 𝗦𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 It's the perfect moment to modernise your ecommerce architecture. Rather than upgrading NAV now and replatforming ecommerce later, a combined ERP and ecommerce strategy helps you: ✔️ Avoid duplicate integration work ✔️ Reduce technical risk ✔ Prevent temporary patch solutions ✔️ Create architectural clarity from day one ✔️ Eliminate redundant systems 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 With Commerce 365 for Magento, we connect Business Central with Magento Open Source, Adobe Commerce, and Hyvä Commerce through a standardised integration. Stop managing integrations and start managing your business! If you’re already running on NetSuite, you know the power of having your financials, inventory, and order management in one place. But why do so many businesses still break that harmony by choosing a disconnected e-commerce platform? Choosing SuiteCommerce isn't just about picking an e-commerce storefront—it’s about choosing a unified Single Source of Truth. Here is why it remains the smartest move for NetSuite-based organizations: ✅ No More "Sync" Nightmares: Forget the middleware, the broken connectors, and the midnight data-sync failures. With SuiteCommerce, your website is your NetSuite instance. Inventory, pricing, and customer data are updated in real-time, across every channel. ✅ B2B & B2C on One Platform: Whether you’re managing complex wholesale accounts with custom pricing or offering a frictionless B2C shopping experience, you don’t need two separate systems. Everything lives natively in your ERP. ✅ Efficiency as a Default: Because the platform is built on your core business logic, you spend less time fixing data discrepancies and more time focused on growth. The Edge of Modern Innovation: NetSuite is moving faster than ever. With the recent release of NetSuite Next, the platform is now embedding integrated AI directly into the core user experience. By leveraging a unified architecture, SuiteCommerce allows you to tap into these intelligent, AI-driven insights without the overhead of complex third-party bolt-ons. When your commerce platform and ERP share the same intelligence layer, you’re not just selling products—you’re predicting demand and personalizing experiences with a level of precision that disconnected systems simply cannot match. If you are looking to simplify your operations, reduce your total cost of ownership, and gain true visibility into your business, the path forward is clear: Keep it all in the Suite! Has your team experienced the benefits of a natively integrated commerce stack? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. #NetSuite #SuiteCommerce #NetSuiteNext #Ecommerce

If your eCommerce platform isn't connected to your ERP, your team is probably doing work twice. Manual order entry. Inventory discrepancies. Pricing inconsistencies. Duplicate data. These aren't eCommerce problems — they're integration problems. Today's distributors need more than an online storefront. They need customer-specific pricing, accurate inventory, streamlined order processing, and real-time visibility across the business. That only happens when eCommerce and ERP work together as one connected platform. Whether you're using Shopify, WooCommerce, Shopware, or Adobe Commerce (Magento), the real differentiator isn't the storefront — it's the integration behind it. Built on Infor technology and powered by Expertek's proprietary integration pipeline, our eCommerce integration framework seamlessly connects Infor CloudSuite Distribution (CSD) and SX.e with today's leading eCommerce platforms. The payoff? Less manual work, greater accuracy, faster order processing, and a better experience for both your customers and your team. Modern eCommerce isn't just about selling online — it's about creating a connected business that scales with confidence. #Distribution #eCommerce #ERP #Infor #CloudSuiteDistribution #ERP #DigitalTransformation #SupplyChain #Expertek
