Calcium signals in seminiferous tubules

Seminiferous tubules of the testes play an important role in sperm production, but how are they regulated? Justine Fischoeder, David Fleck, Jerome Schröer, Christopher Wiesbrock and colleagues show that all the cell types that constitute the seminiferous epithelium display unique calcium signalling patterns that are under endocrine control.
