At TMU, our vision is “taking medical education as the foundation, developing biomedicine for clinical application and becoming a university of innovation with social impacts.” We focus on problem-solving capabilities in education and research, pursue leading innovative R&D achievements and strong entrepreneurial spirits, and adapt changes quickly to obtain resources external in order to make TMU become a driving force behind societal and economic developments in Taiwan.

    In August 2023, 15 outstanding students from various Southeast Asian countries participated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' ELITE STUDYING PROGRAM of the Republic of China (Taiwan). They were selected to come to Taiwan and were arranged to study and exchange in a specialized field at Taipei Medical University for a period of six months. Additionally, they took Chinese language courses and, through the meticulous planning of Taipei Medical University, actively participated in various cultural visits and experiential activities in Taiwan.
