Accessing the Altmetric Details Pages

How do I see all the mentions on a details page?

Altmetric details pages are free to access, but occasionally you might come across a page that only shows a limited number of mentions (i.e., a maximum of 4 mentions per source tab).

You can automatically view the full details pages in the following cases:

• You are accessing the details page from a website that has an Altmetric license. Publishers and other organizations that subscribe to Altmetric are able to offer full access to the details pages of their content.
• You are a registered Altmetric user, and have either an Altmetric Explorer or Altmetric for Institutions account. As long as you are logged in, you should be able to see the full mentions on any Altmetric details page, including ones from publisher sites and institutional repository pages.

If you are unable to view all mentions of an article on a particular details page, it’s likely that the publisher or hosting organization has not yet subscribed to Altmetric. We recommend getting in touch with the publisher of the output to encourage them to subscribe to the full Altmetric Badges.
