Dr. Edward Scheve, a former Rochesterian and organist at First Baptist Church, died Thursday at Grinnell, Iowa. During the absence of George Fisher last year, Dr. Scheve supplied at the Lake Avenue Baptist church for four months as organist and director. Dr. Scheve had a wide acquaintance in this city. He was head of the organ department of Grinnell Conservatory of Music and was a noted composer, performer, and teacher.
