July 24 marks International Self-Care Day, serving as a reminder that looking after our health isn't optional but essential. Prioritizing self-care enables us to lead healthier lives and plays a crucial role in preventing and reducing the risk of noncommunicable diseases. The International Self-Care Foundation captures this through its Seven Pillars of Self-Care—a framework spanning health literacy, mental wellbeing, physical activity, healthy eating, risk avoidance, good hygiene and the responsible use of health products and services. At Aviso, supporting our colleagues’ wellbeing is part of how we live out our oneaviso values. That's why we offer comprehensive benefits and perks designed to help colleagues care for themselves and their families, including: -Extended health benefits, with additional mental health coverage 🧠 -Increased Family-Building benefits🤰 -Flexible work policies 💻 Self-care looks different for everyone. We'd love to know what it looks like for you!⬇️

June is Pride Month—an opportunity to celebrate the resilience, diversity, and contributions of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. At Aviso, we proudly support our 2SLGBTQIA+ colleagues and allies, and remain committed to creating an environment where everyone feels they belong. Throughout the month, colleagues joined a variety of opportunities to learn, connect, reflect, and celebrate—including a special Rainbow Brunch with food from local LGBTQ+-owned businesses. Special thanks to DEIB Committee members Gina Mehra and Devin Tu for organizing this year’s events.

Today, we honour the 30th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day—a time to recognize and celebrate the traditions, cultures and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis. Taking place on the summer solstice, the day holds deep spiritual and cultural significance, marking a time of renewal, connection, and celebration. At Aviso we recognize that Reconciliation is not just a societal responsibility—it’s a business responsibility as well. That’s why we’re taking steps to learn Indigenous worldviews, as we seek to implement a roadmap towards Reconciliation. #NIPD2026

We climb because we care. It's an honour to be the national sponsor of WWF-Canada, and to help raise money and awareness for the important work they do across Canada.
1,776 stairs. 2,237 climbers. $1.48 million (and counting) raised for nature. This year's #CNTowerClimb for Nature was something special — and it wouldn't have been possible without the incredible corporate teams who showed up not just to climb, but to lead. From FedEx Canada claiming the title of largest team and top fundraisers to Aviso kicking off their three-year national sponsorship in style and powerhouse showings from Holt Renfrew, Bullfrog Power, TD, RBC Dominion Securities and so many others. Every team brought their own energy and together they made an enormous impact for conservation across Canada. The stairwell may be behind us, but the work continues. The Anywhere Climb is still open and the BC Place Climb is coming this fall. Read the full recap and meet the teams that helped turn every step into impact 👇 https://lnkd.in/euT77FjG
