European real estate investment volumes are forecast to reach €53 billion in Q2 2026, a 6% year-on-year increase ➡️ http://savi.li/6047aD4WZ Lydia Brissy, Director in Savills European commercial research team, says: “Average deal sizes are expected to have increased during Q2, supported by several landmark acquisitions that demonstrate continued appetite for exceptional assets despite weaker overall market sentiment.” James Burke, Director, Global Cross Border Investment at Savills, says: “Although debt remains readily available for high-quality assets in Europe, lenders and investors are placing greater emphasis on income security, asset quality and pricing discipline. We anticipate that prime yields will remain stable across most sectors and countries during the remainder of 2026, with yield compression likely to be confined to exceptional assets.”

The outlook for Asian capital into London is evolving, and there is real opportunity in connecting that demand with the right investors. That was the focus of a meeting last week, where Neil Brookes, Head of Asia Pacific Capital Markets, met Rasheed Hassan and Emma Steele from the Global Cross Border Investment team to discuss how we bring institutional investors across Asia Pacific closer to one of the world's most liquid and transparent real estate markets. The Global Cross Border Investment team has advised investors from more than 30 jurisdictions, serviced over US$70 billion of global transactions, and established Savills as the No.1 adviser to Asian and Middle Eastern investors in London. #Savills #CapitalMarkets #CrossBorderInvestment #AsiaPacific #London

Savills France has exclusively supported SLIB, a SaaS software publisher, in the leasing of its new offices in the M+ building, in the heart of the central business district of Part-Dieu. With 805 m² rented, this operation is the first lease of this prime service office building in the Lyon metropolitan area. The building meets the growing expectations of companies in terms of environmental performance and quality of life at work. Developed by DCB International, M+ combines workspaces, shops and housing, while offering a complete range of services to office users. Beyond the transaction, this implementation reflects the evolution of user expectations, who now favour more flexible, more service-oriented work environments that are more focused on the employee experience. 🤝 The team are delighted to have supported SLIB in this new stage of its development!

Initial thoughts on the new draft London Plan ➡️ http://savi.li/6047a8tdv The Draft Plan comes at a pivotal moment, where housing delivery in the capital is facing a perfect storm of challenges and the need to boost economic and industrial capacity is apparent. The overriding messaging from the Greater London Authority is that it’s intended to boost housing supply and economic growth whilst protecting key open spaces and the environment. Policies have seen some significant adaptions - particularly around housing supply, affordable housing provision, density and heights, industrial land supply, locations for growth, and green belt release. But will they meet the development needs of the capital? Read the full news article for more ⬆️ 🖊️ Authors: David Jackson & Matt Richards

“Europe’s occupational story provides a compelling case for investors. Take-up has been broadly resilient, but the composition of demand is changing. Occupiers are taking longer to commit to new space, and the proportion of lease renewals remains elevated, reflecting both economic caution and the high cost of fit-out. At the same time, the limited availability of prime space in central locations is supporting rental growth, particularly for highly amenitised, energy-efficient buildings.” Mike Barnes, European Office Research Director https://lnkd.in/eBPctmY6
