“To be honest, I wasn’t really expecting much from this flick but, since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out anyway. Well, first of all, I have to admit that, even though I did grow up with these amazing Lego bricks, I had no clue what this Lego Ninjago thing exactly was. It was apparently also linked to a TV-series which I obviously never saw which didn’t help either. I mean, sure, I did hear about Ninjago before but I obviously felt very little connection with this specific brand within the Lego group. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one since this movie turned out to be a flop when it was released. On the other hand, I have to admit that I really enjoyed ‘The Lego Movie’ which was a really fun and original animated feature, no doubt about it. Howev” read more
" DVD- 1hr. 41min. First Viewing I was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed The Lego Ninjago Movie. It doesn't rank that close to the previous Lego films, but this one is also weirder; more irreverent, less beholden to plot, and more absurd. The last act doesn't live up to the first, and there's a fair amount of bloat to the story, but this a fun little film that doesn't take itself too seriously. "
"Tiene uno que otro chiste hilarante y sin duda Garmadon es genial, pero se nota que repiten demasiado la formula y falto ser más fiel a la serie lo que deja ser decepcionante 5/10 (Vista en Cines)"
"SCREENING: Regular DATE: October 19th CINEMA: Showcase Cinema de Lux LOCATION: Bluewater"
"Third Lego based animation and the second this year, it feels like a rushed job and so isn't as good as its predecessors. A town is under attack from an evil villain and it's up to five young ninjas, including the son of the villain, to stop him. Some of the jokes work but most miss the mark and so it relies more on flashy, brightly coloured action scenes to fill in the blanks. Jackie Chan is good as a ninja master. No more for a while, please."
"It is funny and the animation is great, but The LEGO Ninjago Movie isn't enough to say is the weakest LEGO Film of all for his cliche story and not great cast of characters Award: *No award"
"First viewing - Sept. 30th Worst movie (tie) The kiddo & I were entertained by the trailers for Ninjago, and thanks to the other two LEGO movies that have hit theatres we were fully on board for a third. Well, unfortunately it failed to deliver. Oh the kiddo was entertained enough by it that she found it worthwhile, but I spent most of the time bored out of my mind and wishing it would end already. Had I gone alone to see it, I would have walked out early & either requested a refund or tried to"
