Uneasy but fluent thanks to good delivery by Leaud and Wiazemsky and Tognazzi. The nazi background and the pig theme, ends ok with tha narration, by Ninetto, of what happened to Leaud.

Morrissey's influences (120 movies items)

"Morrissey biographer Len Brown hints that Morrissey may have had this Pasolini movie in mind when he titled one of his song "Life Is A Pigsty". Morrissey indeed often mentioned Pasolini and his work at the time this song was written and released. "

First of all, when I read the description of this film, I expected the story of the man who forms a tribe of murderous cannibals to be nothing more than that said man exploring a deserted desert whilst eating what is initially animals, then transiting into humans. I also expected it to be just that for the entire runtime and rethinking that just makes me laugh, because there's so much more plot that dwells in Porcile. However, halfway through the film, I realized that this obviously isn't the plot, but I thought so in an impressed, surprised way. By then, it was enjoyable watching and I was looking forward to what else this movie would d” read more
