[Rec] 2 is a pell-mell, edge-of-your-seat, theme-park ride through hell, and I strongly advise you to ignore the aspersions cast upon it by snooty critics and random Internet fanboys alike. I am your friend, horror fans! I know what you need, and this is it.

Doesn't exactly bring anything new to the genre, it's no less effective than its predecessor in expertly conjuring an air of low-tech-style dread.

What Balagueró and Plaza lose in novelty, they partially gain back by sheer relentlessness: The film is a slab of raw meat for horror addicts, impeccably crafted mayhem that clocks in at under 90 minutes. Just don’t give it too much thought.

Relies almost entirely on its tunnel-vision, single-player style for its scares. It’s a strategy that stalls out halfway through, which means it works for twice as long as it should.

A movie that overrules logic irritates its audience; we don't like to be reminded that there's a writer pulling the strings. And here, the POV horror is a conceit as well as a distraction, a crutch to create suspense from shaky, dark footage.

[REC] 2 is one of the best zombie movies ever made. Its an unexpected one as well. It takes us to a new stage in the zombie movies giving us not just blood **** zombies, but demon possessed zombies. This movie is filled with plenty of chills and a large amount of blood, it's a definite must see. Don't watch american remakes of this film.

Not bad, though not good. Some generally decent direction, though some of the acting was average at best. It was slightly more interesting due to the religious aspects, although this could have been developed much further.

В целом - это та же 1 часть, но тут всё получилось похуже. 1. Та же локация, которую уже можно было изучить в первом фильме. 2. Не страшно, хотя и первая часть была не особо страшной, но чего у неё не отнимешь, так это атмосферы. В этой части она довольно слабая. 3. Вирус объяснили одержимостью дьяволом, а против уже не заражённых, а одержимых действует крест... Тут у каждого своё мнение. Кому-то не понравилось такое решение, а кому-то наоборот, показалось хорошим. Я отношусь к первому случаю. Итог: Можно ограничиться первой частью, которая очень даже отличная. А эту смотрите на свой страх и риск.

Innecesaria secuela. Parece una recopilación de escenas eliminadas de la primera película. La trama ya no es interesante y el factor sorpresa, pues eso, ya no sorprende. La primera es mucho mejor, incluso con la tercera al menos te ríes mas. Aunque los fans de los zombis pueden quedar satisfechos...

I've seen garage movies with more redeeming creative qualities. The first is a good horror movie, because.. it's very conventional and sticks to the good horror movies patterns. Here they start explaining cr@p, and p!ss on about everybody: the catholic church with its demon experiments in an inhabited building in the middle of the citty, the undisciplined fireman hitting kids, the extremely incompetent and untrained special strike team, snipers shooting civilians through the windows when their orders were just to quarantine the building.. showbusiness guys are always so full of.. love for the rest of humanity. Going on the 3 and 4, those should be monuments too
