Biography

German rabbi, scholar, and theologian; leader of Reform Judaism in Germany and internationally, represented all German Jews during the Nazi era. [1] Leo Baeck was born on May 22, 1873 in Leszno, Polska.

He died on November 1, 1956 in London, County of London, England, United Kingdom, aged 83.

He is memorialized at Jüdischer Friedhof Berlin-Weißensee, Weißensee, Pankow, Berlin.[2]
