Gustav Victor Rudolf Born was born on 29 July 1921 in Göttingen. He was the son of Max Born and Hedi Ehrenberg.
Gustav married Wilfrida Plowden-Wardlaw (1930-2014). They had three children.
In 1959, Gustav resided in Wheatley, Oxfordshire, England.
In 1962, Gustav married his second wife in Hampstead, London, England.[1] They had two children.
In 1986 in Chicago, Illinois, United States, Professor Born, as symposium chairman, promoted the use of aspirin for the reduction of certain heart diseases, which was promoted in several national newspapers.[2]
Gustav passed away at age 96 on 16 April 2018.[3]
