- When I posted this, I was given a stern talking-to by my org’s CEO and head of Comms. So I stopped calling out misleading research online. But I’m not working there anymore so I’m going to pick this thread back up! Send me your favorite examples of wildly implausible matchingAnother day, another highly-touted matched comparison group study with completely implausible and misleading “causal” findings. 🙄😫 It’s research malpractice, y’all.
- Being 6 hours ahead of the US is so weird. I love that smugness I get to feel when I’m awake earlier than anyone else. But that smugness maxes out at 2 hours. Earlier than that and it’s just inconvenient. I have texts I want to send.
- Very happy to see that Julie James is the new EVP of CJ at Arnold Ventures. My biggest failure during my time at AV was not convincing her to join X.
