  • 🏕️ Airtable Summer Camp is in session. 🏕️

We let an agent build our entire launch system. On purpose. We’re kicking off Airtable Summer Camp today ☀️ — five days, five reveals, one real product launch built end to end, in public. Today: the Airtable MCP server builds interfaces and automations + the new skills library. Connect Claude or ChatGPT, load a skill pack, and one paragraph becomes a working system — tables, linked records, a team interface, automations. I've built a lot of trackers by hand. This one built itself before lunch. It's live for you today, no permission slip needed. Watch Emily Houlihan on Day 1: https://lnkd.in/ew3tDGu5 #AirtableSummerCamp

I'm excited to share the next set of features we've shipped in Airtable core product. Over the past several weeks we have launched: ‣ Timeline nesting: nest records inside other records in Timeline view, up to 7 levels deep ‣ Reschedule dependent records: when a date moves, only the work after it shifts. What you've already finished stays where it is ‣ Default dependency type & buffer: set them once for a table instead of configuring every link by hand ‣ Date dependencies in record templates: templates now carry their dependency types and buffers, so a new project starts fully wired ‣ Date dependency API: read and WRITE dependency type and buffer through the public API All of it is aimed at making Airtable a stronger home for strategic portfolio management. If you manage projects with dependencies, I think this set will save you real time. Read more about these features here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gNhnyTWe Big shout out to the Airtable community for the feedback - it directly helped shape this set of features 😃 OK....back to my agents 😉 #airtable #strategicportfoliomanagement #projectmanagement #api #ai

Last month, the Airtable Academy team transformed our entire operating system with a fleet of new agents and agentic workflows. This one helped us increase our publishing output by 125% while maintaining learner CSAT and improving our influenced product usage. Check it out👇 For those unfamiliar, Airtable Academy is the home for our customer education programs -- the self-paced courses, certifications, and learning experiences that help Airtable users of all kind (builders, enterprise admins, end-users) be more successful and effective in their work. And as anyone in customer education knows, good, effective educational content is cross-functional and time-intensive. A single lesson could mean a script in Docs, graphics and visuals in Slides, a walkthrough-ready demo base with dummy data in Airtable, eLearning assets, knowledge checks, additional resources, etc. etc. etc. -- and that's *before* you pull in product SMEs for review, tap extra resources for video editing, or think about where the lesson fits in the wider catalog. So the team built an agent that collapses all of it into a single Slack thread. Drop your topic in and get back the full bundle: script, deck, demo base, and a complete eLearning module with a quiz. With the skills we've built in, it draws on our learner feedback surveys, anchors to our existing catalog and our product roadmap (both stored in Airtable, obv), applies AEO best practices for LLM discoverability, and uses psychometric principles to build the quiz. And because our full tech stack has opened their MCPs, it drafts AND it publishes directly into our tools once the human-in-the-loop approves. Our process has become fully headless. This past quarter, this agent allowed us to publish 125% more content than a normal sprint. Same team. Same time. Learner CSAT held at 8.9 on the new content, and product usage among course completers jumped +130% in the 30 days after. This won the individual "Builder Prize" and helped us take home the "Team Breakthrough" prize during Airloop, Airtable's internal agent building competition. And now, it runs every day.

  • Ever feel like your team's "system" is really just five spreadsheets, a Slack thread, and a prayer? Join Connect, San Diego's 40-year-old innovation nonprofit, and fellow Airtable builders for “From Scattered to Streamlined: How to Build One Source of Truth for Your Team,” a lunch and learn for operators, team leads, builders, and anyone juggling projects, people, or workflows. 🗓️ Thursday, August 6 📍 Kiln RSVP → https://lnkd.in/gzHbQ5a9

Charlotte Pichereau's two-person ops team was drowning in Discord and Slack DMs — duplicated requests, no prioritization, no visibility into who was doing what. She replaced all of it with a ticketing system built entirely in Airtable: workload-based routing, automated email notifications, real-time progress tracking, and a built-in evaluation step before any ticket closes. Today we're launching the Turing Frontier Fellows program. Frontier Fellows is for experts ready to combine AI with the domain knowledge they've spent years building and pioneer what comes next in their field. More than sharpening their own skills, fellows develop a public point of view on how AI reshapes their industries. Turing Frontier Fellows are focused on advancing AI in the real world to solve tough problems in software engineering, medicine, finance, law, physics, biology, and more. Over four months, Turing Frontier Fellows receive: → Tools & workshops: Access to Claude, Wispr Flow, Airtable, and Granola plus hands-on workshops including a Claude Code and Cowork workshop series (enabled by facilitators from Anthropic), Codex Workshops, and Airtable hands-on sessions  → Community & network: In-person events in San Francisco, New York, London, and Bengaluru, plus interest-based subgroups with like-minded peers → Fireside chats: Access to experts from OpenAI, Box, Axiom Math, and more. Ready to help shape how AI transforms your field? Apply now: https://fellows.turing.com

How do you make video training searchable for LLMs without spending a full day writing transcripts and guides for every single course? I built Geode on Hyperagent to solve this. You send it a course name in Slack, and it instantly builds a complete, structured written page—handling takeaways, vocabulary, FAQs, and even a gated quiz to keep learners engaged. What used to take 6 to 8 hours of manual writing and setup now takes just 45 minutes of quick human review. We've currently running a pilot to collect data on a test group of courses. Check out the video below for a quick tour!
