Solaris Pictures, for nearly two decades, has produced, co-produced and distributed award winning LGBTQ films. It champions for Indian queer cinema by providing opportunities for young filmmakers to produce and distribute queer films. Solaris Pictures is the Organizer of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, which is South Asia's biggest queer film festival and the only mainstream Indian queer film festival. Founded in 2010 it has grown to become one of the important events in Mumbai's cultural calendar. Solaris Pictures is also the organizer of FLASHPOINT Human Rights Film Festival which has been held in Mumbai and Delhi. |
