“My father was grateful to his audience for keeping his songs alive. That’s what we intend to do, and I never imagined I’d be doing it standing beside my son. I doubt my father did either.” Adam Cohen

Montreal, July 2026 – Ten years on, Leonard Cohen’s songs are returning to the stage in “Everybody Knows.” Sung by his son Adam Cohen and, for the first time, his grandson, “Everybody Knows” is the first official, family-produced tribute tour since the 2017 memorial celebration at Montreal’s Bell Centre, where Lana Del Rey, Feist, Damien Rice, Courtney Love and The Lumineers gathered to honor him.

Conceived and led by his son, Adam Cohen, Everybody Knows celebrates the legacy of one of the greatest songwriters of our time through performances of his most iconic songs, accompanied by a carefully curated selection of archival photographs and film footage.

For the first time, Adam Cohen will share the stage with his own son—Leonard Cohen’s grandson—bringing a deeply personal and multigenerational dimension to this celebration. Additional special guests will be announced in the lead-up to the performances.

The Canadian tour will visit three cities in November 2026. Everybody Knows will premiere at the Grand Théâtre de Québec on November 2, followed by performances at Théâtre Saint-Denis in Montreal on November 4 and Toronto’s Meridian Hall on November 7.

Following the Canadian dates, the tour will continue across Europe in early 2027. It marks the first official production dedicated to Leonard Cohen’s body of work since the acclaimed 2017 tribute concert at Montreal’s Bell Centre, which featured performances by Lana Del Rey, Feist, Damien Rice, Courtney Love and The Lumineers.

The show’s visual design has been created by Montreal-based multimedia studio Moment Factory, internationally renowned for its immersive live productions for artists including Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Madonna.

Today, Sony Music Entertainment releases first-ever career-spanning album from songwriter, musician, poet, novelist, and visual artist Leonard Cohen. Comprised of 17 tracks from Cohen’s expansive career, the anthology, Leonard Cohen: Hallelujah & Songs from His Albums, features an unreleased and unforgettable live performance of “Hallelujah” from the 2008 Glastonbury Festival. See full track list below. The album is available digitally now – listen here, and coming this fall on CD and limited-edition translucent blue vinyl (2LP) – click here to pre-order.

This collection is a companion piece to the new documentary Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, A Journey, A Song, which premieres at Tribeca Festival this month, and was also an official selection at 2021 Venice Film Festival and 2021 Telluride Festival. The film is a definitive exploration of the singer-songwriter as seen through the prism of Cohen’s internationally renowned hymn “Hallelujah.” Approved for production by Leonard Cohen just before his 80th birthday in 2014, the film accesses a wealth of never-before-seen archival materials from the Cohen Family Trust, including Cohen’s personal notebooks, journals and photographs, performance footage, and extremely rare audio recordings and interviews. The feature-length documentary contains moving testimonies from personal friends of Leonard’s such as Adrienne Clarkson and Larry “Ratso” Sloman, and recording artists for whom “Hallelujah” has become a personal touchstone like Judy Collins, Brandi Carlile, and Rufus Wainwright.
