In this paper, we study the design of KDM-CCA secure PKE. To this end, we develop a new primitive named<jats:italic> Auxiliary-Input Authenticated Encryption<\/jats:italic> (<jats:sans-serif>AIAE<\/jats:sans-serif>). For<jats:sans-serif> AIAE<\/jats:sans-serif>, we introduce two related-key attack (RKA) security notions, including<jats:italic> IND-RKA<\/jats:italic> and<jats:italic> weak-INT-RKA<\/jats:italic>. We present a generic construction of<jats:sans-serif> AIAE<\/jats:sans-serif> from tag-based hash proof system (HPS) and one-time secure authenticated encryption (AE) and give an instantiation of<jats:sans-serif> AIAE<\/jats:sans-serif> under the Decisional Diffie-Hellman (DDH) assumption. Using<jats:sans-serif> AIAE<\/jats:sans-serif> as an essential building block, we give two constructions of efficient KDM-CCA secure PKE based on the DDH and the Decisional Composite Residuosity (DCR) assumptions. Specifically, (i) our first PKE construction is the first one achieving KDM<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M5\"><mml:mo stretchy=\"false\">[<\/mml:mo><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"script\">F<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">a<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">f<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">f<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><mml:mo stretchy=\"false\">]<\/mml:mo><\/mml:math>-CCA security for the set of affine functions and compactness of ciphertexts simultaneously. (ii) Our second PKE construction is the first one achieving KDM<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M6\"><mml:mo stretchy=\"false\">[<\/mml:mo><mml:msubsup><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"script\">F<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">p<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">o<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">l<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">y<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi>d<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msubsup><mml:mo stretchy=\"false\">]<\/mml:mo><\/mml:math>-CCA security for the set of polynomial functions and almost compactness of ciphertexts simultaneously.
