Description

  • Blue cirkels are male cells.
  • Blue bars are Y-chromosomes
  • Pink cirkels are female cells.
  • Pink bars are X-chromosomes.
  • MI corresponds to the first stage in meiosis
  • MII corresponds to the second stage in meiosis
  • Problems with cell division in the M II-stage in the female results in a cell with 2 X-chromosomes, at the same time problems in the M II-stage in the male also results in a cell with 2 X-chromosomes. When these cells fuse the offspring will have 4 X-chromosomes (pink cell in the center)
