Yesterday was a good one. London, the Google CMP event, Mihail by my side (Consentmo), and a bunch of people who know the privacy, consent, and compliance grind firsthand. A few things that stuck with me: - Building data strength: good data in, better results out. Google's AI can only drive ROI if it's fed the right data, and our CMP job is making sure that happens compliantly. - CMP Partner Program updates and clearer certification criteria, especially the new requirements for the GTG era, so it's much easier to know what "good" looks like now. - The Digital Omnibus conversations, which were the real meat. Good to hear that CMPs and Google share the same concern around Article 88b, and that it's actively in discussion with the EU. - Great to see the new European CMP Association - ECMPA get a proper presentation and endorsement. Big thanks to Claudia and the team for pulling the whole thing together so smoothly, and to Ido Peled for the tour of Google's Harry Potter-themed offices.
