I'm Angela Simmons, PASSION Coach

I help Christian married couples heal from sexual shame, rewrite misinformed beliefs about sex, and build mutually honest, joy‑filled intimacy that honors God and delights both spouses.

I also equip engaged and pre‑married Christian couples to prepare their hearts, boundaries, and expectations now—so they can avoid common intimacy challenges and enter marriage with a healthy, biblical vision of sex.

The mission and vision of Principled Passion™ is to be a Christian sex‑education company that offers content, courses, coaching, and conferences promoting the pursuit of passion with principles—so believers can experience healthy, whole, and holy intimacy in every season of life.

My calling is to passionately equip believers with tenets, tools, and techniques for:

Married Couples: practicing principled passion by fully engaging and enjoying sacred sexual oneness within a monogamous covenant—and deepening emotional, spiritual, and erotic intimacy for a lifetime.

Engaged / Pre‑Married Couples: practicing sexually disciplined singleness while aligning desire with God’s heart, so that the full expression of sexual love is joyfully reserved for marriage, not ruled by shame or fear.

In every season, the goal is the same: healthy, whole, and holy intimacy that reflects God’s love story.

Angela Simmons, The PASSION Coach, is a dynamic speaker, minister, and Christian sex–love–relationships coach with over 25 years of experience helping believers pursue passion with principles. She specializes in guiding Christian married couples—and engaged or seriously dating couples preparing for marriage—through sexual shame, past trauma, miseducation, desire differences, and communication breakdowns, so they can build holy, honest, and joy‑filled intimacy that honors God.

Known for her expressive, humorous, and transparent style, Angela blends biblical wisdom with real‑world relevance to create safe, faith‑centered spaces where couples and individuals can talk honestly about sex. She helps them overcome shame, heal the impact of past experiences and distorted teaching, improve their communication about sexual intimacy, and rewrite their intimacy story with God’s truth at the center.

Angela is the creator of the Principled Passion™ brand, equipping couples, singles, parents, and faith communities to align desire with God’s heart. She is the author of Treasured Garden – A Principled Passion Resource for Parents & Caregivers; co‑author of The Glambitious Guide to Faith, Self‑Care & Happiness and Daily Dose of Declarations for Women; and the forthcoming Principled Passion Sex Talk Guide for Singles (Fall 2026). Her work with married couples and singles also inspired two signature trademarked merch brands—Redeemed & One™ (marriage) and Redeemed & Kept™ (singleness)—featuring apparel, tools, and resources available in her online shop.

A licensed minister since 1999 and current Associate Minister at Bates Memorial Baptist Church (Louisville, KY), Angela began ministering at age 14. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from N.C. A&T State University, has completed graduate‑level sexuality courses, and plans to complete her Master’s and Ph.D. studies with an emphasis in Human Sexuality. Her long‑term vision is to serve as a seminary adjunct professor, training future ministry leaders to compassionately and wisely engage a sexually diverse world.

Angela resides in Kentucky and is the proud mother of one adult son, Elijah—her “Handsome Prince, Mighty Man of Valor, and King in the Making.”
