There's nothing I could write about Eddie Van Halen today that I didn't already write when he was alive. But he was my favorite guitar player, and I guess he still is (and probably always will be).
The thing is, selling books is really weird now. Selling 1 book before the release date seems way more important than selling 5 books the month after it's been in stores. If I were smart, I would tour while I'm still writing the book and just type on-stage.
