Headquartered at École Polytechnique de Montréal and within the Poly-Grames Research Center, the Electromagnetics Theory and Applications (ETA) research group, headed by Prof. Christophe Caloz, is a dynamic team of talented researchers developing cutting-edge technology microwave and millimeter-wave systems. The team, based on the platform of the prestigious Canada Research Chair Future Intelligent Radiofrequency Metamaterials (FIRMs), held by Prof. Caloz, specializes in electromagnetic metamaterials, a field in which it has gained international renown for many pioneering concepts and applications. However, these activities extend well beyond: they cover all fields of theoretical, computational and technological electromagnetic engineering, with strong emphasis on emergent and multidisciplinary topics.
