Financially Yours IIM Kozhikode recently hosted a Private Equity Strategy Case Competition in collaboration with Alka Oaks Partners, a Philadelphia-based PE Fund. The case challenged participants to evaluate strategic exit pathways for a private equity investment, requiring teams to combine financial analysis, market understanding, and practical deal-making judgment—skills central to the private markets ecosystem. After a competitive round of submission and evaluation, the participants demonstrated exceptional clarity of thought, structured analysis, and a well-reasoned exit strategy. 🏆 Winners – First Place Ayush Gagarani, Vishwas Rajani and Mayank Tripathi. 🏆 Second Place. Harshit Tahlani, Sudhanshu Kumar and CA Panshul Agarwal. 🏆 Third Place. Prince Jangra and Satyam Mahajan This recognition highlights their ability to approach real investment problems with the analytical rigor expected in private equity. Kvest Kapital Delivers Again: Shyam Metalics Hits Target We at Financially Yours (FY) are proud to share that our Kvest Kapital recommendation on Shyam Metalics has officially hit the target price, a testament to our research conviction and fundamentally analytical view. While the stock initially showed strong momentum post our recommendation, it faced headwinds due to market volatility, a weak economy, global uncertainty, and geopolitical tensions, and corrected in line with broader indices.
