Austrian Economics, Freedom, and Peace
About us
The Mises Institute exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian school of economics, and individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard. Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, the Institute works with students and scholars from many countries, and reaches out to business leaders, professionals, and everyone else interested in our mission. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.

In celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we remember names like Jefferson and Washington. Unfortunately, the man probably most responsible for push this nation to independence, Thomas Paine, is mostly forgotten. 📰 Mises Wire | George Ford Smith https://lnkd.in/ertmGJiF

Despite the eternal promises of members of Congress, government office space is rapidly deteriorating. Unfortunately, Congress has no plans to deal with the problem. All of this is easily explained by Austrian economics. 📰 Mises Wire | William L. Anderson https://lnkd.in/ePA-GdRg
