Through political engagement, candidate support, voter education, and issue-centered action, we work to ensure that the communities we serve are not simply seen but represented, heeded, and permanently defended.

Norma Elizabeth Boyd made history as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s first official lobbyist, bringing the sorority’s commitment to public service directly to the legislative arena.

She played a pivotal role in advancing policies that supported education, civil rights, and economic opportunity. Her work set the foundation for AKA’s enduring voice in advocacy and political engagement.
