🦜 Built-in Dictation in VS Code: Code at the Speed of Thought Say goodbye to typing every command and prompt. In Visual Studio Code 1.131, built-in dictation lets you speak directly into chat, editors, and the terminal—no extensions required. Powered by a private, offline transcription model, your voice stays on your device while VS Code converts your thoughts into code, documentation, commands, and more. Enable optional AI-powered transcript cleanup to automatically format text and remove filler words as you dictate. Whether you're coding hands-free, capturing ideas quickly, or improving accessibility, built-in dictation helps you stay in flow and focus on what matters most: building great software. 🔗 Link: https://lnkd.in/gHPPkZKc 🎙️ Featuring: James Montemagno (@JamesMontemagno) 📲 Follow VS Code: X: https://x.com/code Bluesky: https://lnkd.in/eHt8ePcd LinkedIn: https://lnkd.in/eBdYuE5y GitHub: https://lnkd.in/eRAzZ8J #vscode #code #dictation

No ‘t’ was harmed in the word bu’on

It's a regret that it's only in English
