I'm a platform architect working in regulated financial services, having started out in utilities. Outside the day job, I'm a CNCF Ambassador, co-chair of the CNCF Cartografos Working Group, and co-author and maintainer of the Cloud Native Maturity Model. I served as Track Chair for Platform Engineering at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2026.
My community work focuses on three things: helping newcomers navigate cloud native, helping the community communicate its business value, and contributing technically to the platform engineering community.

Cartografos Working Group — Co-chair. The group's mission is to help adopters and end-users navigate the CNCF landscape and the wider cloud native ecosystem.
Cloud Native University — Co-chair across three consecutive KubeCons (EU 2025 in London, NA 2025 in Atlanta, and EU 2026 in Amsterdam as the very first Cloud Native Theater event).
Cloud Native Balance Sheet — A framework for communicating the business value of cloud native, introduced at KubeCon EU 2026 with Danielle Cook.
