Java → Go Career Transition
Java → Go Career Transition

I’m primarily a Java developer. In my previous company, I worked almost exclusively with Java, and I have a good command of DSA in Java as well.
I recently switched to another company where I’m working with both Java and Go. From what I’ve seen so far, the Go team is working on some really interesting problems, especially around system scalability and performance, compared to the Java side.
Because of this, I’m considering moving completely toward Go for my future career. My main question is: Should I start doing DSA in Go as well, or should I continue practicing DSA in Java?
If I’m planning to switch to Go-focused roles in the future, would knowing DSA in Go give me any advantage during interviews, or is it better to stick with Java since the concepts are what matter?
Honestly, I’m also getting a bit tired of writing the same kind of Java code and would like to explore Go more seriously.
Would appreciate advice from people who have made a similar transition from Java to Go.

Btw i have just joined the new company like 1 month ago.
