At its plenary meeting on 26 Sep 2014, ITU-T SG17 noted that, according to an agreement co-signed by the Information Technology, Post and Telecommunications Authority (ITPTA) (Administration representing the ITU Member State) and by the Mongolian Agency for Standardization and Metrology (MASM) (organization representing the ISO Member Body), the Communications Regulatory Commission of Mongolia is the registration authority for this OID. This decision was further noted by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its plenary meeting on 24 Oct 2014.
