CES 2009: Sennheiser HD 800
Thursday January 15, 2009

One of the more premium headphones being shown off at CES 2009 was the Sennheiser HD 800. These German crafted beauties cost around $1,400 a pop.
The Sennheiser HD 800 headphones are a wired style model which sport a unique transducer technology which is the largest that can be found in this type of product currently. The device's ring design works with the transducer to minimize distortion as the transducer puts out higher quality low frequencies, resulting in what Sennheiser says is a masterful listening experience.
Other features of the HD 800 headphones include uncovered earcups, ear pads made from a special Japanese material, a metal handband and a special connector cable. You can get more information on these luxury headphones at the Sennheiser Web site.
