Its been years since the production of the Airwalk Desert Boot, but now
Airwalk has gone back in and has broken the mold per the request of Beastie Boys member
Adam Yauch. Yauch, a huge fan of the Desert Boot ran out of product and took his quest straight to Airwalk, and got the boot back in production (in VERY limited quantities).
If you happen to be in New York on January 27th, feel free to drop by the release party at the Hotel on Rivington, 107 Rivington Street, from 7PM - 10PM. You are bound to run into a Beastie.

Move over Dave White, there's another sneaker freaker on the horizon. Meet
Daymon Greulich, a Melbourne-based artist who specializes in cartoons and character design. Having worked at Disney Studios, he has now opted for the more unpredictable life of a freelancer. His favorite kicks include the Air Jordan III, the Air trainer III and the Sneaker Freaker Blaze of Glory! His sneaker art is rad and bad to the bone.
You can buy his art via the Sneaker Freaker web site right here or check out more of his work here.

New Balance has released a peek of two of their soon-to-be released collections - one dubbed the "Candy Pack" and the other "Pantone."
Both collections use the same sneaker as their base - the 996 series. The Candy Pack features two colorways - one in an all silver (pictured) and the other a purple/fuchsia. The silver colorway takes the honor as most notable. It's sleek color will definitely turn heads - if you're into that kind of thing. In the other collection - Pantone - there will also be two colorways available. The first comes in a red/green/yellow/white with a gun metal New Balance "N" logo emblazoned on the side of the shoe. The second colorway features a red/pink/white colorway. All the shoes make use of mixed materials including patent leather and suede.
The release for these two sneaker series is set for the Spring. No word yet on a price for these sneakers.

I dig the colors and the overall perforation on the uppers. Such sweet, sleek design that makes the overall package so street chic. Simplicity is key and this man knows how to shock and awe. Grab a pair before they go. His designs sell fast.
