WELCOME TO CIMP
The "International Commission of the Palaeozoic Microflora" or "Commission Internationale de la Microflore du Paléozoique" (CIMP) is an international federation of palynologists interested in Palaeozoic palynology.
The commission aims to advance knowledge of palynology and related subjects by the promotion of international co-operation and meetings between scientists of all regions and countries.
To this end the CIMP arranges symposia and working groups which deal with various stratigraphical and taxonomic problems in Palaeozoic palynology.
CIMP small grants to attend the
12th European Palaeobotany Palynology Conference (EPPC)
Munster, Germany, 20-24 September, 2026
Abstract submission and registration now open
CIMP are providing small grants for student attendees each to the value of €150.00. The grants are intended to cover early-bird registration fees, but can be used towards travel, accommodation or subsistence costs, and will be available to students taking part in the CIMP Symposium - Palaeozoic Palynology.

3. Title of any oral (as speaker) or poster (as first author) presentations you intend to make at the conference, with a list of co-authors.
Deadline for receipt of applications is 20th June, 2026.
Preference will be given to members of CIMP (membership is free to students). Awardees will be expected to provide a short written account of their conference experience for inclusion in the CIMP Newsletter and social media.
