'A stunning exploration of what’s possible in another chance, this unique and tender romance will knit your heart back together one page at a time. No one does YA like Kristin Dwyer.' Eva Des Lauriers, author of I Wish You Would
'Romantic, ethereal, and entirely original. I read this book in one sitting, and I loved every magic-filled page.' Emma Noyes, author of Soul of Shadow
'I didn’t know my perfect book would be a tender punch to the gut interlaced with sheep named after the Gilmore Girls, but here we are. This is the best timeline and where Dwyer leads, I will follow anywhere she tells me to.' Ashley Schumacher, author of In the Orbit of You
'In Time With You is a blend of all the best things―it's spicy, thoughtful, romantic, and satisfying with a unique twist that I promise you’ve never read before. I was alarmed by the number of times Kristin was able to break my heart and then patch it back together. Prepare to feel a lot of feelings.' Jenna Evans Welch, New York Times bestselling author of Love & Gelato and Spells for Lost Things
'The chemistry and community of Elle Kennedy’s Off-Campus series paired with the time-loop intrigue of Before I Fall, this book grabs your heart and doesn’t let go until the final page. Dwyer has complete mastery of our emotions as she pulls us through Nieve’s journey of love, self-realization, heartbreak, and a splash of magic. Readers will adore every word of In Time with You, even if they can’t see them anymore through the tears.' Emily Varga, international bestselling author of For She Is Wrath
'Dwyer's In Time With You is a beautiful exploration of love, loss, and second chances. It's intimate, hopeful, and utterly impossible to forget.' Anika Hussain, author of Heartbreaker

Moving time travel romance
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 March 2026A captivating blend of speculative romance, magical realism and time travel.
Nieve is lost and grieving, suffering from the loss of her boyfriend, and traumatised by guilt over the events that led to it.
When she wakes up a year earlier, she thinks she's dreaming, but as events play out she realises she has a second chance to save the boy she loved.
What starts as a mission to just save Carter, soon spirals into unpredictable consequences and trying to understand how to change fate when every decision ripples time.
I enjoyed the use of art and colour, and how it featured in family traditions, emotions and energy, and in finding clarity.
This story explores a whole host of emotions, and is a moving story about love, loss and connection.

Loved!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 March 2026Ive really been enjoying time-travel romances recently, and this might be my favourite!
The plot itself, and all of the character's are so well written, I love the development of specific people in the new timelines
The first half of this story is definitely grief and heartbreak, due to Nieve (fmc) blaming herself for her boyfriends death
I do wish we saw more flashbacks of their relationship, other than the little snippets mid- chapter, as i think I could then connect to the grief and both characters more...
But I love this story so much that it didn't bother me too much. The ending was a personal favourite with everyone getting their happy ending
A special shout out to Nieve's grandmother, who was the star of the show throughout

Unique Take on Second Chance Romance
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 March 2026Firstly, all I’m going to say is: the sheep with Gilmore Girls character names. 100% yes. I was absolutely here for that and loved it.
Anyway… In Time With You.
This was a difficult one to review, I have to admit. I have a lot of mixed feelings when it comes to this read. It’s compelling, to say the least. At its heart, it’s a romance that centres around grief, the aftermath of loss, and second chances, with magical realism woven throughout.
Nieve has just lost her boyfriend, Carter, after he saves her from drowning. As you’d expect, she blames herself - and it seems Carter’s best friend Max does too.
Seeking escape, she goes to stay at her grandmother’s house. Strange conversations follow - her grandmother believes colours and time all have deeper meaning.
Then Nieve wakes up the next morning… a year in the past.
Carter is alive, and he has no idea who she is. Essentially, she’s been given the chance to wipe the slate clean and start again, with the ability to rewrite the future....or so it seems.
Nieve embarks on a mission to prevent Carter’s death, but in doing so she begins to unravel their relationship along the way. By pushing Carter away, she finds herself growing closer to the last person she ever expected...Max.
While the story explores the realities of living with grief and learning to move forward, it adds an extra emotional layer by placing Nieve in a reality where no one else remembers what she’s been through. She’s surrounded by the same people, yet she alone carries the weight of knowing what the future may hold. She’s essentially mourning a love from another timeline, while also mourning the version of herself that no longer exists.
The magical realism element really grabbed my attention, and while the premise is emotionally rich, I did find the time loop aspect started to grate on me slightly. Time bending is mentioned and partially explained, but we’re never truly told how or why certain moments shift the way they do.
There were points where I was literally thinking “noooo!” when moments were lost or memories disappeared. At times it didn’t quite make sense to me, although it does eventually kind of come together.
I did enjoy watching Max and Nieve continually find their way back to each other. It almost felt like their connection was woven into the timeline itself - as if certain moments are simply meant to happen, no matter how much you try to change things.
However, while we see a lot about why Nieve is drawn to Max, we don’t get quite as much insight into why he feels the same way about her. It would have been nice to see more of his perspective across the different timelines.
Although the story wraps up in the end, it does feel a little abrupt, and you’re left slightly dazed with a few unanswered questions.
Overall, I did enjoy it, but there were a couple of elements that didn’t fully land for me.
That said, it’s a nicely written, fast-paced story with an interesting and unique take on second-chance love.

The pace of this one is slow and gentle, allowing readers to experience Nieve's grief and the emotional turmoil she carries as she relives the last year of her life while trying to make subtle changes so the man she loves lives. In doing so, the ripple effects timeline events, some big, some small. Are all the changes due to her making different choices, or did she not notice small details the first time around? Which versions of her friends and family are true? What things did she miss? Nieve begins to see things differently, and as her perspective changes, so will yours.

In Time with You slowly digs its way into your very being without you even realizing it. Suddenly, you're halfway through, and you don't know which way is up and which is down. All you know is that you hope Nieve's strong enough to weather all that time throws her way.

As the end drew near, I wasn't ready to say goodbye, even when things were so uncertain, and Nieve was at her most vulnerable, rawest point, and my heart ached. I felt uncertain. Scared. I wanted to believe it would all work out, but as we know, time is a b*tch and demands payment in full. Sacrifices must be made. I cherished every moment, committing them to memory and tucking bits and pieces away to pull out later when I wanted to recall the profound feelings this story drew from my depths.

Reviewed in the United States on 14 June 2026Kristin Dwyer’s In Time with You is a touching story of having second chances. It shows that Time passes you by unexpectedly and while we can’t actually go back in time, we can learn to truly “Live in the Moment”
Love will find its way to you if you give it time - if it’s meant to be for you. (Lo que está a pa’ ti - nadie te lo quita). That every event in life has a ripple effect and sometimes you need to stop, analyze & know what you want, but remember that all will come in it’s due time including love. ♥️

Biblio-Guardian5 out of 5 starsTime Travel, Grief, First Love and "Second Chances"
Reviewed in the United States on 13 March 2026I have read my fair share of time travel romance books. More or less. This one seems to have obvious but almost spoken rules of the rules of what happens when you go back in time. Kind of how Michael Keaton explained it in "The Flash" with spaghetti 🍝 noodles. Look it up.
Nieve Monroe awakens one morning and finds herself back a year in time before her boyfriend Carter dies from a drowning accident. She finds him alive, and makes it her mission to save him. But as she goes on it, she starts to develop feelings for another guy, obviously so, but learns when you try to change the past, Time trys to auto-correct itself. The bigger the changes, bigger the ripples. Like in the show "Lost".
Overall it tackles serious issues such as grief, guilt, stages of grief, what if game. But, it does bring hope that even in life's darkest times, light can still be found even in the deepest chasms. Metaphorically speaking.
Kristen Dwyer did a good job defining her rules of time travel and made the characters as genuine as she could. Definitely looking Forward to reading more of her other works. Well done madam. 👏
