Despite the reviews say things like 'Poor Recording Quality', 'Is it me or my record player?' that had me doubting whether I should purchase 'Education Entertainment Recreation' offering by New Order I took the plunge and purchased the Box set because it was on offer on Amazon. Well, all I can say is those out there that have made negative comments about the sound really do need to upgrade their playback devices. I am an Audiophile and consequently very 'fussy' about sound and playback. To me the Blu-Ray disc sounds amazing in both DSD and DTS-HD and even the 16bit CD is not bad; there is good ‘Air’ around the performance, the Bass comes across clearly and the mixing is excellent and for me catches the performance accurately. Do not be put off, if you like New Order then this is a good set for the collection. Hope that helps you decide.

Even though I love NO,it might be my record player, the vinyl doesn't sound very clear,I'm no vinyl fanatic, the presentation is top notch and can't fault it, the instruments seem a bit over powering,I love live music but rate their previous live work much better to listen to, but I am glad that I have bought this vinyl

Excellent cd all tracks are just great

I was surprised at the vibrancy of this CD. The group sound in great form! Once the groove gets to you it is hard to listen to anything else - New Order are a rare group! good to return to their music.

I saw this concert on Sky Arts and enjoyed it so much I bought the CD of it but the overall recording quality and mixing is quite abysmal. Vocals are recessed and barely intelligible while you have to strain to hear backing singers. Overall the sound is messy and muddled and not up to the quality I would expect from a modern day digital recording. Having said that it's still possible to enjoy the sound of New Order despite the less than optimum recording quality. Maybe I was expecting too much after comparing it to The Pet Shop Boys Inner Sanctum Concert Live At The Royal Opera House, which is superb.

If you have ever heard Bernard Sumner wailing like a banshee, and kind of enjoyed it, you will love this album. I think this group can do no wrong and therefore take with the grain of salt this review. I love hearing their old stuff and their new stuff and what they do with the music live on stage. They are not anywhere close to the best live band. I’ve heard or seen in person multiple times but I just can’t get enough of this stuff. If you’re a fan, I think you will enjoy it however, if you are just getting into the band, I suggest one of their studio albums instead.

ニューオーダーのライブは、演奏に難ありと言われてますが、昔からそこを含めてニューオーダーなのでファンならわかると思います。
