Villamar (Sardinian: Mara Arbarei) is a town and comune (municipality) in the Province of Medio Campidano in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Cagliari and about 7 kilometres (4 mi) northeast of Sanluri. It has 2,392 inhabitants.[2]
Villamar borders the municipalities of Furtei, Guasila, Las Plassas, Lunamatrona, Pauli Arbarei, Sanluri, Segariu, and Villanovafranca.
Demographics
[edit]As of 2026, the population is 2,392, of which 50.4% are male, and 49.6% are female. Minors make up 12.3% of the population, and seniors make up 28.3%.[2]
