Case Background
On March 17, 2023, SVB Financial Group (the "Debtor") filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
SVB Securities and SVB Capital's funds and general partner entities are not included in the Chapter 11 filing and continue to operate in the ordinary course as SVB Financial Group proceeds with its previously announced exploration of strategic alternatives for these valuable businesses.
The Debtor is no longer affiliated with Silicon Valley Bank, which is now operating as Silicon Valley Bridge Bank, N.A. under the jurisdiction of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as Receiver.

Plan and Disclosure Statement
On January 26 2024, the Debtors filed their Plan of Reorganization and on February 7, 2024, the Debtors filed their Disclosure Statement related thereto. On May 30, 2024, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order approving the Disclosure Statement. The Bankruptcy Court held hearing to consider confirmation of the Plan on July 24, 2024. On August 2, 2024, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order confirming the Plan. On November 7, 2024, the Effective Date of the Plan occurred, and the Plan was consummated.
