A Dreamkeeper™ (adapted from Langston Hughes’ poem of the same name) is an adult mentor who protects, nurtures, and amplifies the dreams of our young people. They illuminate possibilities, helping youth navigate their own personal journey toward prosperity. 

Dreamkeepers™ make sure we  don't defer the dreams of a generation, but instead create pathways for those dreams to transform the entirety of our collective futures.

The Dreamkeeper™ Spotlight celebrates the individuals who embody the spirit of the iamFREETODREAM™ campaign—teachers, counselors, parents, artists, community leaders, and other inspiring figures who champion young people's dreams.

Through these stories, we amplify voices and wisdom that illuminate the many diverse pathways a young person can take toward prosperity. Success is not one-size-fits-all, and each feature reveals how Dreamkeepers™ have forged unique paths, broken molds, and redefined what it means to achieve… for themselves and for the young people they support. By sharing these spotlights, we hope to inspire others to embrace their individuality, unlock possibility, and ignite the boundless potential of young people in their worlds.
