Meet one of our sidewalk snow friends! This multi-purpose machine is one of the newest editions to our 63 piece snowfighting fleet. She’s part of a pilot project launched last year to plow sidewalks in City Centre and she can also drop salt.
Mayor Brenda Locke declared Jan. 4 as Nirmal Singh Gill Memorial Day in Surrey. Mr. Gill was killed in a racially motivated attack at the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara on Jan. 4, 1998. The City condemns such acts and is committed to protecting all from hate, racism and discrimination.
