Rock the Roost will be a full-day music festival and battle of the bands on June 12, 2027, on FairmontState's campus ...Fairmont State University is seeking eight original bands from across West Virginia to compete in Rock the Roost 2027.

News of the celebrated manager and promoter’s passing was shared by the band themselves on social media today (Tuesday June 9), who said that he “cared passionately for us and for what was fair and right in the wider world”.
