Mauro Icardi has scored 37 goals in 71 Serie A appearances for Inter Milan
Mauro Icardi scored twice as Inter Milan dispatched Udinese to extend their lead at the top of Serie A.
Roberto Mancini's side secured their sixth win in seven games to go four points ahead of Fiorentina, who play champions Juventus on Sunday.
Skipper Icardi fired Inter into a 23rd-minute lead before Stefan Jovetic chipped in the second before the break.
Icardi then got his second seven minutes from time before substitute Marcelo Brozovic curled in the fourth.
Udinese came into the match unbeaten in their previous five home games and started well but were then punished for a succession of defensive mistakes.

Stefan Jovetic spent two seasons with Manchester City before moving to Inter at the end of July
Top scorer Icardi pounced on a weak pass from Bruno Fernandes to advance and claim his fifth goal of the season with an angled shot past Karnezis.
And veteran sweeper Maurizio Domizzi, 35, then gifted Jovetic possession for the former Manchester City striker to claim his fourth goal of the campaign eight minutes later.
Inter, who have not conceded a goal in their last six wins, equalled their biggest win of the season with two late goals.
Argentina international Icardi collected another misplaced pass to hit a fierce shot inside the near post before Brozovic cut in to claim the goal of the game with a curling effort into the top corner.
Elsewhere, Palermo beat fellow strugglers Frosinone 4-1 to pull clear of the relegation zone, while Bologna won 1-0 at Genoa.
The game between Sassuolo and Torino was postponed because of fog.
