𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐚𝐭 VivaTech 2026 !! 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞, 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 for this 10th edition of the event. This year’s edition left me with a strong sense of optimism about French and Europe’s technological future. The energy, ambition, and talent on display across the ecosystem were truly remarkable. At Multiverse Computing, we were proud to be present on three different booths (Orange ,PwC, France Deeptech - thank you for hosting us), meeting customers, partners, entrepreneurs, and public stakeholders. These discussions continuously reinforced why we do what we do: helping make AI more efficient, more accessible, and more sustainable. I also had the pleasure of joining three fascinating round tables with Ecolab - Greentech Innovation , European Centre for AI Excellence (ECAIE) , Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations , and Capgemini , discussing topics that matter deeply to me: sustainable AI, quantum in finance, and European sovereignty. One message kept coming back throughout the week: efficiency matters. In a world where AI adoption is accelerating, frugal AI and model compression are becoming strategic, not only for reducing environmental impact, but also for improving economic efficiency, resilience, and sovereignty. The emotional highlight of the week came on Friday evening at the #Élysée Palace, where I had the honor, as CEO France of Multiverse, to meet our President Emmanuel Macron . A memorable moment !! Message received, Mr. President ! Promised, we won’t give up. Excited for what comes next. Of course, this week at VivaTech would not have been what it was without the team !! A special thank you to my colleagues Jorge G. Derveaux, Elyes BOUASKAR , Karim De Coster, Vincent Foch , Philippe PETITJEAN , Victor Barbier Saint Hilaire and Asier Arburua for their energy, dedication throughout this intense week. #VivaTech #AI #QuantumComputing #Sovereignty #SustainableAI #DeepTech

Is bigger really better in AI? Or are we just building an expensive, unsustainable multiverse of models? As enterprises scale GenAI, many are defaulting to oversized LLMs that exceed what their use cases actually need, driving up cost, energy and water use, and emissions. Capgemini’s latest POV highlights a shift: 👉 the future isn’t about more powerful models everywhere 👉 it’s about the right model for the right task Nearly half of executives already see AI increasing their emissions, putting sustainability goals at risk. Rightsizing changes the game. 💡 My take: We’re moving toward a fit-for-purpose AI. The winners will design ecosystems, not just deploy models. Use smaller, optimized models where possible, reduce compute, and keep performance where it matters. Innovations like Multiverse Computing’s CompactifAI show how model compression can dramatically reduce model size while preserving accuracy, making sustainable AI at scale far more achievable. 📄 https://lnkd.in/ggf8uAfz Maik Schwalm | Vincent Charpiot | Etienne Grass | Dr. Philippe Cordier | Victor Gaspar | Asier Arburua | Priya Bohra

Yesterday, our Chief Growth Officer Iraia Ibarzabal spoke at La Rioja's Digitalization Strategy Forum 2026–2030 on what applied, sovereign AI looks like in practice, for governments and businesses alike. The infrastructure is there. The political will is there. What brings it together is efficient, compact AI built to run on existing infrastructure, in Spanish, with data sovereignty by design. That's what Multiverse Computing delivers. Thanks to the organizers from Futuro Digital La Rioja and the Gobierno de La Rioja for the invitation, and for putting the right questions on the table. #SovereignAI #EfficientAI #AIStrategy #MultiverseComputing
