Ensuring the safety of educational institutions.
After analyzing the current situation, assessing existing and potential threats, reviewing effective global practices, and evaluating public demand, the author proposes a comprehensive security system for educational facilities designed to protect against criminal, terrorist, and other threats. The proposal includes practical solutions aimed at addressing specific vulnerabilities identified in the security and safety management system. A unified approach to assessing the safety level of educational facilities
The article addresses the problem of the lack of a unified system for assessing the level of security and safety in educational institutions based on formal criteria, which, in the author's opinion, calls into question most of the conclusions that are based primarily on the personal opinions of experts and compliance with regulatory requirements, which for the most part contain general and vague wording. As a solution, the author proposes his own development—a table for assessing the overall level of safety of an educational institution from criminal and terrorist threats, based on 64 criteria.

international portal Public order and Safety
Dear visitors of the website.
We inform you, that the initial text of this page has been written in the other language and has been translated to English by means of technical translation. We apologize in advance if the meaning of some words and sentences will be transmitted incorrectly due to the low-quality translation. We constantly work and do our best to improve the quality of the translation. Thank you for your understanding.
The main website and its auxiliary resources were created as an electronic platform for bringing together and facilitating communication between people involved in or interested in issues of public order, security, and the prevention and combating of crime and terrorism. We focus on those who are not concerned with discussing problems and finding culprits, but rather with studying existing threats and predicting potential ones, and most importantly, with finding practical solutions to prevent and suppress them.
One of the main tasks of the portal is to give such people the opportunity to make themselves known, to present their developments and promising ideas, to provide them with a platform for posting articles, projects, and other publications, for discussions, debates, professional communication, organizing joint work, etc. All communication is conducted exclusively within the framework of professional topics, without discussion of politics, economics, or everyday issues.
Another, equally important goal is to restore the «information bridge» with colleagues from other countries. These ties began to actively deteriorate in 2013 and are now almost completely severed. The reason is banal — politics, or more precisely, disputes on political topics in discussions, which almost instantly took the communication out of the civilized channel and reduced it to personal attacks, rudeness, and insults. This once again confirms the rule, the violation of which has already ruined more than one professional resource: where politics begins, there is no room for constructiveness and professionalism. Therefore, the Public Order and Safety portal will be completely apolitical. Any topics, even those indirectly related to politics, will be strictly prohibited. There will be no exceptions, and moderation in this area will be particularly strict. We are confident that over time this will allow us to at least partially restore ties with our colleagues from other countries and return communication to a civilized level within the framework of professional topics and the exchange of experience.
We invite all like-minded people to participate in the development of the portal. It does not matter what country you are from, what gender or age you are, or whether you have scientific works or academic degrees. The only thing that matters is your interest in the subject matter of the projects and your desire to contribute to the fight against crime and terrorism in the world. If you have such a desire, we are happy to welcome you to our team.
Editor-in-chief of the portal.
