Biography

Josh Brolin is an American actor, known for his roles in movies such as Goonies, Dune, and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe portraying Thanos.

Josh James Brolin was born on 12 February 1968 in Santa Monica, California, USA and was the son of Jane Cameron (Agee) (1939–1995) and actor, James Brolin. His parents divorced when he was 16 years old.

He has acted in theater, film and television roles since 1985.

In his mid-20s he commenced active stock trading and was a co-founder of the now-defunct stock trading website MarketProbability.com.

He was first married to an actress from 1988 to 1994 and they had two children.

He married secondly on 15 August 2004 to actress Diane Lane and they divorced in 2013.
