Thank you for your careful review of the above. I think I have now resolved all of your cite needed and verification failed tags. My edit summaries include some explanations. I enjoyed working on this article and appreciate your input. I do think the asserted connection to the French monarchy is the best and most intriguing hook (and of more general interest) and offered an alt1 to address your concern. (There was a source placing him on baseball's all-time "pornstar" name team (here), but that source wasn't sufficiently reliable, so I left it out of the article and decided not to offer a hook based on that.) • Baseball-reference.com (here) does, in fact, verify the date of Fabrique's last major-league game. Near the top of the page it identifes the date of both his first game and his last game as follows: "Last Game: June 20, 1917 (Age 29-179d)." Accordingly, can you remove the verification failed tag?
