Add topicAccidental edit
[edit]Hi, thanks for reverting my accidental edit.
I was opening the article to help translate it into Bengali Wikipedia, but I unintentionally published an incomplete edit by mistake. I didn't notice it until afterward. Sorry for the disruption, and thanks for fixing it. Borhan (talk) 14:51, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
Blanca Soto
[edit]Born 5 January 1979 https://www.listal.com/blanca-soto 90nikos (talk) 16:16, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
- @90nikos: - This is a WP:USERGENERATED page (see the 'edit page' button) on a site for creating lists - I do not think it is a reliable source. Dates of birth are a sensitive piece of personal information per WP:BLP and specifically WP:DOB, and sourcing standards for them are more stringent. Do you have any other sources for the birthdate? Waxworker (talk) 00:58, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Waxworker, thank you for your note regarding Listal as a WP:USERGENERATED source. Despite your clear explanation, the same pattern of adding this source for DOB on Blanca Soto has continued. I also noticed that you correctly reverted the addition, as using an unreliable source for birthdates violates WP:BLP. AriuCH (talk) 20:10, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
the Ryan Adult vandal
[edit]Hey Waxworker, I recently made a long-term abuse page on that Ryan Adult user who never stops going on and on about me and has lately been threatening you to close your account. You might want to keep an eye on the pages he vandalises and make sure to report any temporary IPs or standard IP he uses. I'm getting tired of him bullying me. Luigitehplumber (talk) 23:48, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
- @LTPHarry: - I'm sorry that they've been harassing you. A few articles relevant to this are on my watchlist. I generally try not to engage much with this kind of disruption - I think revert, block, ignore is the best policy when dealing with this. While obviously useful for reporting purposes, I think LTA dossiers reward their desire for attention/recognition and are a double-edged sword in that regard. Waxworker (talk) 00:49, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
- Ryan Adult hassles me on other wikis as well and uses usernames based on made-up companies I created ( IME Entertainment, CWP Entertainment, etc.), and it’s gotten to the point that he pretends to be me despite the fact he’s not that intelligent. I was the one who originally called him Cloudco Vandal and he’s been using that name since, admitting he is indeed a vandal on Wikipedia and other wikis. I don’t even think Ryan Adult is his real name either.
- In all honesty, I think he’s just an obsessive fan of what I do on YouTube and is likely autistic like me. However, it doesn’t excuse his behaviour especially his snarky edit summaries aimed at me (I.e. "Harry Humble is starting to get quite angry to stop the Cloudco Vandal.") and his recent threats to you because he cannot get his own way on adding in nonsense to pages. I've lately been ignoring him because I start to believe he could be trolling me all this time. Luigitehplumber (talk) 00:57, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
Mariko Honda Birthdate
[edit]I try add her real birthdate from jawiki by Reliable sources, But why are you removed? because it's unsource or unreliable sources? (Here https://amuleto.jp/talents/honda-mariko.html) Tiamichaelnuksu1994 (talk) 08:18, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Tiamichaelnuksu1994: - I see that the linked agency profile lists birth month and day, but I don't think that listing birth month and day without a year is useful - this has also previously been discussed at Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style/Archive_230#DOB_but_without_year?. @~2026-39539-71:'s addition also created a cite error, as a reference with the name "amuleto_pro" did not exist. Also, for future reference, by default it sends a ping whenever someone edits your talk page - your edits to your message made 7 pings. Waxworker (talk) 16:26, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
Fourth child
[edit]This information is already up on the page for Karl Leyser (her husband) with a citation if that is sufficient evidence. If not, I shall procure and provide more if you request. Signifierofasignifier42 Signifierofasignifier42 (talk) 23:44, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Signifierofasignifier42: - The source given there only mentions Crispin once on p.623, at least in the linked excerpt, and doesn't mention them working in television or Channel 4. Are there pages from the full text that verify this? Waxworker (talk) 23:57, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
- https://www.c21media.net/news/channel-4-parts-ways-with-la-acquisitions-and-coproduction-consultant-crispin-leyser/ here’s another source. Signifierofasignifier42 (talk) 00:04, 20 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Signifierofasignifier42: - This ref discusses his work in television, but doesn't mention him being related to either Henrietta or Karl. I think that a source discussing both is necessary to show that this is the same person, and not someone unrelated, as well as to show that they are notable - per WP:BLPNAME, the names of non-notable family members of article subjects are normally not included due to privacy concerns. Waxworker (talk) 00:14, 20 July 2026 (UTC)
- Do with the page as you wish as I am an inexperienced user. Signifierofasignifier42 (talk) 16:20, 20 July 2026 (UTC)

LithTech
[edit]Based on my edits getting reverted, can you take a look at the LithTech page. Many of my edits were based on what it says and if my category edits are wrong, then some of the information on this page is likely also wrong. Rtim20 (talk) 16:08, 20 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Rtim20: - I've removed many of the entries on the list from the article as they're unsourced. As I said on your talk page, other Wikipedia articles are an unreliable source per WP:CIRCULAR. The subject of categories should be discussed and sourced in the article per WP:CATVER. URLs in edit summaries are not the same as citations - Help:Referencing for beginners has guidance regarding citing sources, and similarly to Wikipedia, Mobygames is an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:VG/RS. Castle Explorer cover art
[edit]Hello @Waxworker! I would like to work on the article for Castle Explorer, and I noticed you uploaded some cover art. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind if I replace it with the square alternative cover (version or )? Personally I think that square cover is more visually interesting and also clearer at smaller resolutions. What do you think? Would you be okay with this? — Chao Garden 🌱 ~ say hello 00:20, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Chao Garden: - I personally don't have a preference aesthetics-wise, but per MOS:VGCOVERART "The identifying art should be from the game's original release" - the Giant Bomb listing says that the square cover is the original box art (obviously since this is a WP:USERGENERATED wiki taking this with a grain of salt), but if this is the case, the square cover should be used instead since it'd be the original. Waxworker (talk) 00:30, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you, I think the MobyGames version (the Scholastic release) wouldn't fit that MOS:VGCOVERART criteria. But that first square version from GiantBomb may fit? I am honestly not sure which cover (the cover you uploaded, versus the square version) was original; it may be the case that they are both original. I did a little research and was not able to find much definitive information. It generally seems like the square version is more commonly used online, but that's not solid evidence. Given this ambiguity, are you still okay if I swapped the covers (and requested deletion of your version)? — Chao Garden 🌱 ~ say hello 22:19, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Chao Garden: - Swapping the covers seems fine. Waxworker (talk) 22:22, 21 July 2026 (UTC)

[edit]About that revert, you do realize that he DID worked on the unsold pilot, so therefore, it should belong in the filmography. You didn't NEED to revert it. You could've just remove the rest and keep the unsold pilot in the filmography instead. Also, I fixed the minor grammatical errors, so those didn't need to be reverted either. Don't that again. Dr. Gregory House's Missing Cane (talk) 19:45, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Dr. Gregory House's Missing Cane: - I've manually removed the unsourced content added. Waxworker (talk) 22:39, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
Polka Dot Door
[edit]Unfortunately, Facebook shouldn’t be used as a reliable source. The official Facebook page for The Polka Dot Door’s post was my only proof that Ken hosted Polka Dot Door from 1973-81. Nor can I use Fandom as a source. ~2026-40702-36 (talk) 21:45, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
Mito Kōmon
[edit]What nonsense. You obviously object to that addition in particular, since there are only 4 damn cites on the entire page and none at all in the section I added to. You'd have to delete most of the article if you insisted on citations for all of it. Or maybe you've just set yourself up as the un-logged-in edit police.
Either way, be honest about it. I don't mind someone asking for a cite, but don't give me some BS story about it. Or just ask for the cite instead of going around reverting good faith edits. Anyway, you win. Dumbass edit wars are one reason why I stopped editing Wikipedia in the first place, and you did a great job of reminding me. ~2026-37580-67 (talk) 06:32, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
- @~2026-37580-67: - Other unsourced content being on the article is an issue, and I do not think that it is a reason to add more unsourced content, and I've removed some of the other unsourced content from the section. Do you have a reliable source discussing Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy's use of the theme? WP:A&M/RS has a (non-exhaustive) list that may be helpful to consult of reliable/unreliable sources related to anime and manga that have previously been discussed by other editors. Vandalism at Xilam page
[edit]I reverted the vandalism of user ~2026-34921-22 at the Xilam template and that user vandalized the Xilam page once again with misinformation about Alvin and the Chipmunks was produced by them, which is not. I suggest to ban their IP address already MariaSantanaSilva (talk) 15:06, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
- @MariaSantanaSilva: - I am not an administrator, and cannot block anyone. I've given them a level 3 warning for addition of unsourced content - if they continue after another warning I think a WP:ANI report would be apt. You can also warn them if they continue, you do not need to be an admin to use warning templates: Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace has a list of warning templates you can copy, or you could use the tool WP:TWINKLE. The Chica Show again
[edit]The temporary user is at it again adding unsourced information about Fox being involved with The Chica Show. - FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 00:26, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- @FilmandTVFan28: - If they re-add it again, another request for page protection I think would be apt. So far only one this month, so despite how sustained this has been I don't think there's been enough recent disruption for protection currently, though in my opinion there was when you had reported it previously and was declined. Waxworker (talk) 01:04, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- The source the user recently used for the article doesn't seem to work properly anyway, especially with Google Chrome. - FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 22:43, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
Amanda Peet's Debut
[edit]her debut on the show called one life to live in 1995 when she cast as the waitress layle. I only edited and added it because that's her first appearance on the show but I did my research on it so I saw it on YouTube... that's the truth Mrjohnny758 (talk) 03:35, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Mrjohnny758: - Youtube is a generally unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:RSPYT unless the channel is that of a reliable source, e.g. something like an official ABC channel, or that of a news source such as the BBC or CNN. If she is credited, the episode's credits themselves may be cited using Template:Cite episode, but non-primary sourcing would be better. Other Wikipedia articles/wikilinks aren't a source, but One Life to Live also doesn't mention the "Main role" of Layle. Episode credits may be used to verify that she was in the show, but secondary sourcing would be necessary to describe the prominence of the role. Waxworker (talk) 01:53, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

About Ginormica in Monster vs Aliens. And apologize to you.
[edit]Ginormica is 49 feet 11 inches. Why did you edit 50 feet 10 inches. In metric, she is 15.21m, not 15.49m. I was sorry for comment summary. I will must put summary next time, when I will edit something. CPUlala (talk) 03:17, 31 July 2026 (UTC)

Robert Stadlober Wikipedia page
[edit]Hello Waxworker, I tried to add a reliable source yesterday via using a citation from IMDb, but I’ve been told it was not allowed. What other articles am I allowed to use as citations? I ask as I wanted to add an entry on Robert Stadlober’s page regarding the fact that he played Goebbels in the 2024 film “Goebbels and the Fuhrer”, but I saw that it was removed as I used IMDb as a source and was told that that was “unreliable”. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Nonyondertheawesomesauce (talk) 09:51, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Nonyondertheawesomesauce: - I see that @Geemial: added the entry on Robert Stadlober sourced to IMDB, not you. Is Geemial also your account? If this is the case, you should declare the connection somewhere (e.g. both userpages) per WP:ALTNOTIFY. Regarding sourcing, if he is credited the credits of the film themselves may be cited using Template:Cite AV media, though secondary sourcing would be better, and WP:FILMSOURCES has a (non-exhaustive) list of reliable/unreliable sources related to film that have previously been discussed by other editors that may be helpful to consult.
