Unexplained image removal

Gnom (talk · contribs) reverted the image on the right with edit summary Let's maybe keep AI-generated imagery out of this page
. As far as I can see there is no explanation/reason for the removal and I'd like to readd it.
I think it's better than the other images on this page of which I removed none and is the only that shows a gnome using a computer to edit and the most relevant/useful/appropriate/illustrative/high-quality on the page. For comparison, the image below is kept on this page and the other other images in it are low-resolution drawings about gnomes in general (well one next to the Wikipedia logo). - @Prototyperspective I can't point you to a specific conversation, but I saw elsewhere that AI-generated imagery is generally considered verboten. I suspect because it is a slippery slope with no clear boundaries and no bottom. (At least not at this time. Perhaps eventually there will be parameters for AI imagery.)
