Pearl River Community College is proud to welcome renowned wildlife biologist, conservationist, and Emmy Award-winning television host Jeff Corwin as the featured speaker for the Honors Institute Lyceum Series on Tuesday, September 15, at 7:00 p.m.
For nearly three decades, Corwin has inspired audiences through acclaimed television series on ABC, NBC, Discovery, Animal Planet, Disney Channel, and National Geographic. As the creator and host of ABC’s Wildlife Nation, he shares powerful stories of conservation heroes, endangered species, and the importance of protecting our natural world. A bestselling author, wildlife biologist, and passionate advocate for environmental stewardship, Corwin combines scientific expertise with unforgettable storytelling to encourage audiences of all ages to appreciate and protect the planet. Join us for an engaging evening as Jeff Corwin shares his adventures, insights, and vision for preserving wildlife for future generations.
Admission is free, but tickets are required. Seating is general admission, and all guests must reserve a free ticket.
The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra returns to the Brownstone Center on Tuesday, September 29, at 7:00 p.m. Directed by Crafton Beck, the orchestra will present a captivating program of masterpieces and audience favorites, making this a perfect event for both longtime classical music enthusiasts and first-time concertgoers.
Tickets are $20 and seating is assigned.
Listen to some a cappella music at ACA Fest on November 12 & 13 at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy an evening of outstanding performances by talented Mississippi high school vocal ensembles alongside Pearl River Community College’s premier vocal groups, The Voices, Currents, and Rapids. From powerful harmonies to dynamic vocal arrangements, ACA Fest promises an unforgettable musical experience for audiences of all ages.
Tickets are $15, and seating is general admission. A ticket is still required for entry. A separate ticket is required for each night.
