Physalaemus is a large group of frogs in the family Leptodactylidae. They live in South America. People call these frogs dwarf frogs or foam frogs in English.[1] This group is like Leptodactylus.[2] Researchers say these frogs have one of the most confusing histories of any frog or toad in the New World their bodies have so many different shapes and they are so hard to see.[3]
