STEM Camps for Kids in Oklahoma City
If you’re looking for engaging STEM and STEAM camps in Oklahoma City, Science Museum Oklahoma offers five exciting camp programs throughout the year—winter, spring, summer, fall, and special break camps. Designed for PreK through 6th grade (typically ages 4 – 12), our camps keep kids learning, exploring, and having fun even when school is out. With hands-on science activities, creative problem-solving, and interactive experiments, our camps spark curiosity and make every school break an adventure!

Fall Break Camps
Select the camp’s grade level your child is in. Fall camps happen on October 15 and October 16, 2026.
Early Explorers (preK) attend from 9:00am to noon. All other campers are at the museum from 9am to 3:45pm.
Each week costs $150/members and $175/non-members

Early Explorers - PreK (ages 4-5)
Weather Watchers
From gentle breezes to powerful storms, little meteorologists will explore the wonders of weather through hands-on science, creative projects, and playful experiments.
Explorers - Kindergarten & 1st Grade
Cardboard Engineering
Think like an engineer and create like an inventor as you transform everyday cardboard into amazing creations. Through designing and building, campers will discover that imagination and innovation can turn simple materials into something extraordinary.
Investigators - 2nd & 3rd Grade
Kitchen Science
The kitchen is the perfect laboratory to explore chemistry you can see, smell, and sometimes taste. Join us to discover the science behind measuring, mixing, and creating amazing treats. This camp will use common food ingredients. Please note any allergies upon registration.
Innovators - 4th - 6th Grade
Motion Masters
Campers will become motion masters as they explore speed, energy, gravity, and more! STEM challenges will require them to push, pull, launch, and roll their way to solutions that deepen their understanding of how and why something moves.
Thanksgiving Break Camps

Forest Friends
Step into the forest to discover the amazing animals, plants, and habitats that make nature come alive! Through hands-on science, nature exploration, and creative activities, campers will learn about the wonders of the natural world. Adventure awaits!
Explorers - Kindergarten & 1st Grade
Mission to Mars
Suit up for an exciting journey to the Red Planet! Future astronauts will explore planets, rockets, and the possibility of life beyond Earth while completing hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and space-themed activities.
Investigators - 2nd & 3rd Grade
Rock Hounds
Dig into the fascinating world beneath your feet! Explore sparkling minerals, ancient fossils, and incredible rocks while discovering how Earth has changed over time. Campers will unearth hidden treasures through exciting hands-on geology investigations.
Innovators - 4th - 6th Grade
Candy Chemistry
Discover the science behind your favorite sweets through exciting experiments that mix chemistry with a little sugar! Candy becomes a scientific tool as campers investigate colorful reactions, test chemical properties, and enjoy edible science activities. This camp will use common food ingredients. Please note any allergies upon registration.

Extended Care
Need a little extra time and flexibility? Science Museum Oklahoma now offers extended care for before and after camp so campers enjoy even more supervised exploration.
For campers between kindergarten and 6th grade, weekly options are now available:
- Before camp | 7:30am – 8:30am | $75
- After camp | 3:45pm – 5:00pm | $90
- Both before and after camp | $150
