    I am proud to proclaim today as Purple Heart Day. Home to some 400,000 veterans and military families, Alabama recognizes the cost of freedom, and we honor every Purple Heart recipient who shed blood for us. Their sacrifice is forever etched into the story of our nation. 🇺🇸💜

    Today, we recognize Will Roberts Day in Alabama in honor of Will’s remarkable life and in recognition of every child who has battled or is battling childhood cancer. Will represents the courage, hope and faith shown by so many young warriors. His legacy will continue to inspire.
